NEW: Ashtanga Foundations: online 4-week course - Starts Saturday 18 July, 11-12pm
This is a four-week immersion into the foundations of Ashtanga Vinyasa practice. We will explore and practise the key elements of the Primary Series. If you're a regular yoga practitioner this is a great opportunity to refine your relationship with breath, drishti (point of focus), and gross/subtle energetics. If you're a beginner, this is also a great place to be as it establishes the foundations of standing postures and vinyasa. You can access the full course of 4 classes for £20, or attend a single class for £7. The class pass will give you access to Monday and/or Friday class if you can't attend one of the Saturdays. Mondays: Evening Flow: 6-7pm
As an evening flowing practice, this class aims to energise but also to restore and prepare the body for a relaxing evening and hopefully a restful sleep. We might break a sweat, but we will leave enough time to slow down, hold a few postures, and relax.
Fridays: Movement & Meditation: 6:30-7:30pm
Part movement part meditation. In this class we will use yoga postures and somatic movement explorations to prepare the body for seated meditation. We'll explore different techniques to quiet the mind/body from the week's hustle and bustle.
