Minimum Yoga Zoom: group classes and events

NEW - Mondays: Slow Ashtanga, 6-7pm

From 17 August

This class focuses on slowing down your ashtanga practice. There is a tendency among practitioners to hurry through the sun salutations, speed-up transitions, and generally hasten through the whole series. In this class we tackle this by slowing down the breath to start with, then by establishing a clear connection between movement and breath, and by holding postures for more than 5 breaths. We have an opportunity to also look at some alignment principles, and break down some postures/transitions. Online only. On Minimum Yoga Zoom.

Fridays: Movement & Meditation: 6:30-7:30pm
Part movement part meditation. In this class we use yoga postures and somatic movement explorations to prepare the body for seated meditation. We explore different techniques to quiet the mind/body from the week's hustle and bustle.
